CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
Participants will be selected based on their desire to become a more effective leader and their willingness to commit to attending all class sessions.. Efforts will be made to strive for a diverse class composition from the following counties: Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, and DeKalb.
TIME COMMITMENT AND CLASS MEETING DATES FOR 2012
Classes will meet weekly beginning on February 6, 2012. All classes will be held on Monday evenings through April 30th, with the exception of Monday, February 20th which is a holiday. Classes will be held at MERIL’s office in St. Joseph, 4420 S. 40th Street. Graduation will be held the evening of April 30th.
Classes begin at 5:30 pm and will adjourn by 8:30 pm. A light meal will be served at each meeting.
A. Tuition – tuition is free to committed participants.
B. Stipend – a stipend of $20.00 is available for each meeting attended to help income eligible participants with childcare and transportation expenses.
C. Attendance - Attendance at all sessions is required!
**Completed applications must be delivered or postmarked by January 20, 2012 to CAP, 817 Monterey, St. Joseph, MO 64503. The Selection Committee will then review applications and select class members.
