Name of Specific Service Offered: Help with home repairs if you have been evicted or have received a letter of pending eviction. Depending on your income, you must show proof of employment or a recent job loss.
Dates the service is available: Year-round, depending on funding.
Income Guidelines to get this service: Maximum Annual Income: 1 person—$18,250; 2 people—$20,900; 3 people—$23,500; 4 people—$26,100; five people—$28,200.
Note: Assistance is available from a special fund for the “Working Poor” (families whose maximum income is slightly higher than above poverty guidelines, but not enough to qualify for federal help):
Annual Income Guidelines for 125%-200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines: (working poor)
1 person—$13,000-20,800; 2 people—$17,500-28,000; 3 people—$22,000-35,200;
4 people—$26,500-42,400; 5 people—$31,000-49,600.
What the service gives you: Assistance with minor home repairs if you qualify based on income and criteria so that you will not lose your home and can continue moving forward toward self-sufficiency.

What to bring when you come to apply:
Social security cards for everyone in household, photo id, proof of income from previous three months, eviction notice, or risk of being homeless (eviction, temporary), or a condemn notice.
Documents needed for the working poor guidelines: In addition to the above forms of identification and income, you must show proof of employment or a recent loss of job. Also: Bring an eviction notice, or a letter from landlord; for help with home repairs you’ll need a condemned notice.

Once paperwork is completed and processed and it has been determined that you qualify for help.
