Graduation assistance and career skills for at-risk youth through the Missouri Career Center and CAP


Name of Specific Service Offered:  The Youth Program at the Missouri Career Center, in partnership with CAP St. Joe.

Dates the service is available: Year-round for teens who qualify.

Income Guidelines to get this service: 
Must live in poverty, and have at least one additional barrier to graduating high school (such as parenting, experiences with the juvenile justice system, or homelessness).

What the service gives you: 
Through its year-round youth program, the Missouri Career Center, as a partner with CAP St. Joe, can enroll up to 150 at-risk teens in a comprehensive program for completing high school, receiving college and career counseling, job seeking classes, computer skills, parenting skills and housing. Services are offered one-on-one with youth coordinators, and in a group setting.
