Administrative Office
Our administrative office is located in the old National Guard armory between the brownsfield and mid-city areas of Saint Joseph. The administrative office houses the majority of CAP-St. Joe's administrative staff and also acts as the Buchanan County outreach office. Our hours of operations are 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Careers At CAP
CAP is a dynamic, employee-friendly place to work! We have several times that we get togther and enjoy integrated agency-wide activities.
We have quarterly all staff days during the year and the topics are numerous. Our meetings are informative and include training and networking opportunities. One of our quarterly staff days is a wellness day. we engage in healthy activities including massages and health screenings. We have a healthy lunch and share health and well-being information with each other.
Also, as one of our staff days we have a winter celebration that is lots of fun. Organizers plan a wonderful sit down luncheon, entertainment and a special gift for each employee. Board members are invited as well. The celebration is very festive and is a great time to catch up with folks!
Each summer, one of our board members hosts a summer board meeting. Each employee and their family are invited for a wonderful meal and a time to socialize as well as meet our board.
Each program has regular staff meetings and their directors try to vary the format, location and topics covered at each meeting.
CAP has many fundraising as well as community awareness activities, and staff are encouraged to join the work teams for these events as we bring the community action message out into our communities. Some of the activities we engage in include Community Action Day, a couple of semi-annual fundraisers and Poverty Simulations.
As a thank you to all of our volunteers, an annual volunteer recognition is held. Entertainment and refreshments are provided.
